I had a cat once and the only place it would pee was on my bed. It used to climb in the bedroom window, piss on my bed, and then leave again...

I'm no expert, but I think animal psychologists say this is a form of protest from the cat. I knew someone who's cat went on a 'dirty protest' and would only crap in its food bowl
